About Overture

• Does Overture PvP?
  Although we do not "officially" exist as a PvP guild, many of our members are active in Battlegrounds, Arena, and World PvP. We are a part of the Reckoning Battlegroup.

• What is Overture?
  Overture is a Shadow Council based guild that strives for 25-man raiding excellence. We raid 11 hours a week with the following schedule based on Server Time (ST):
  
  Tuesday* = 7 - 10 pm ST
  Friday = 7 - 11 pm ST
  Monday = 7 - 10 pm ST
  
  *on weeks with a major patch push, Tuesdays raids will be shifted to Wednesday.
• What is your loot policy?
  Heroic Raids organized by Overture will utilize the EPGP (Effort Points, Gear Points) system for loot distribution. Ultimately this gear functions on a ratio system between EP (gained from attendance) and GP (item costs). More information on our adaptation of the system can be found here.
  
  You can download the mod at: [http://code.google.com/p/epgp/downloads/list] and then move the EPGP folder into your World of Warcraft Interface/AddOns directory. In game, type /epgp to bring up the graphical user interface.

About Raiding

• Do you have a roster rotation policy?
  We do our best to rotate in players if there is a balance issue that forces us to have them sit out. Generally we will not sit the same person two raid nights in a row in order to increase the opportunity each player has to raid.
• Do your raids go overtime?
  No. Occasionally we will end the night with a boss that might cross over the designated raid end time by 5-10 minutes, but we will not force anyone to stay longer than the raid end times listed here on our site.
• What is your raid schedule like?
  Traditionally it is:
  
  Tuesday* = 7 - 10 pm ST

  Sunday = 6 - 10 pm ST

• What level of gear should I have before applying?
  We would reccommend outfitting yourself with as much as the previous level of content had available.
  
  For example, Heroic Ulduar is ilvl226-239 and Heroic Naxx is ilvl 213-226.
  
  We suggest running 10 mans and getting as much craftable / badge gear as you can if 25 mans are not an option.

• How do I apply?

• How long does it take to get a response on an application?
  The application process can range anywhere from 2-4 days depending on the day you apply on and how readily available you are for contact. If you are on the same server the response is generally much faster. If you are applying from another server you might want to include a note when it would be best to contact you in-game. Make sure to check your WoWstead inbox regularly if there is no other means of contact.
